Les « Immortels », appellation des dieux (adjectif substantivé). Le surnom se rencontre aussi au féminin: « Athanatai aliai », chez Homère, est synonyme d' « aliai theai », « les déesses marines » ¹. [Homonyme: Hoi Athanatoi, « les Immortels », soldats perses.]
